Art Contribution Guidelines
Mr. Ramey is hosting a Pink Gala Fundraiser to honor his mom, who passed away from breast cancer. The event raises money for people battling breast cancer and supports a scholarship in her name.
He has asked our Del Oro students to create artwork that will be auctioned at the Gala.
Who Can Participate

Art Students: Optional participation.

Link Crew Leaders (Zero Period): Required. You may work individually or in teams, depending on your plan.
Theme & Inspiration
Your artwork should connect to the themes of hope, power, and resilience. Think about how art can uplift, encourage, and inspire strength.
Examples of Ideas:

A phoenix rising from flames (rebirth, power)

Blossoming flowers breaking through concrete (resilience)

Figures holding hands in solidarity (community, hope)

Bold, abstract shapes in pinks, golds, and bright colors (energy, positivity)

Portraits or silhouettes that radiate light or strength
✨ Any style or medium is welcome—painting, drawing, digital, mixed media, printmaking, sculpture, photography, etc.
Requirements

Artwork must be school-appropriate.

Must fit the Gala’s theme of inspiration, hope, and power.

Finished artwork must be turned in by Friday, October 3rd.
How to Submit

Completed works should be signed and ready to display/auction.

Turn them in to Room 801 (Holmes) by the deadline.
Remember
This is more than an assignment—it’s a way to honor survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and give hope to those still fighting. Your art will make a difference. 💗
