Pre-Trip Meeting
April 17th, 2026

Students must attend the pre-trip meeting to go on the field trip. If, for any reason, you cannot attend the pre-trip meeting, please let your respective teacher know in advance so that we can get you the relevant information.
At the meeting, we will go over the code of conduct, itinerary, chaperone assignments, the Remind app, and other day-of-the-trip logistics.

FIELD TRIP CONDUCT
In order for all to enjoy this trip and make it possible for us to continue to have this type of activity, we need to be reminded of certain responsibilities. We will behave as SUNS at all times and will respect the authority invested in our chaperons, bus drivers, and staff members.
1. The following school rules, District Discipline Code, and the Activity/Athletic Code regulations will apply at all times on a school trip. For your information, safety, and well-being.

No use or possession of alcoholic beverages.

No use or possession of tobacco in any form.

No use, possession, sale, or distribution of any drug or narcotics. 4. No involvement in an offense classified as a felony or misdemeanor. 5. No conduct that results or is likely to result in bodily injury or damage to a person or real property.
Failure to follow the above regulations will result in disciplinary action.
2. Bus conduct: Do not put anything or any part of your body outside the bus. Do not attract attention by yelling or signaling outside the bus. There will be no loud yelling, horseplay, throwing, or gambling.
3. Free Time:

Never go alone: For safety’s sake, stay in groups of at least two or more students.

For your own protection, do not accept rides from anyone and do not leave the vicinity without individually checking with the person in charge.
4. Timing: You are expected to be on time for all activities during this trip.
If a student breaks the code of conduct, their parent is responsible for picking them up.
If any expenses or legal action are taken, the parent and student will be held fully responsible.
